Traditionally, ‘masculinity’ is defined by the physical qualities or attributes that are associated with the characteristics of men. 

 

However, in ‘Rethinking Masculinity, we challenge this definition by showing how men explore their own masculinity through fatherhood.

Rahma Utami

She is a bachelor of advertising from Bandung Institute of Technology and currently pursuing her Master in Media Practice for Development in University of Sussex. She has almost 10 years experience in digital marketing consultation/agency as a creative strategist, a digital marketing trainer, and a mentor for social enterprises.

She is a bachelor of International Communication from Vietnam and is a MA candidate in Media Practice for Development at the University of Sussex. She has one-year experience in development field while working for GIZ Vietnam and has a passion for sound design and radio broadcasting.

In addition, she has a year of experience working as a content writer and producer for an entertainment website, managed by Dina Thanthi group, a leading Tamil news organisation.
